The Plenary is the highest decision board of the CoNCA. Their members are:

Carles Duarte i Montserrat President
(Barcelona, 1959) Poet and linguist. He has collaborated with Joan Coromines on Diccionari etimològic i complementari de la llengua catalana. His poetic work has been translated into several languages and has received the following awards: Rosa Leveroni, Vila de Martorell and Criticism "Serra d'Or". He received the Creu de Sant Jordi and Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres of the French Republic. He has been also honoured by APPEC and ACPC. He is currently director at Lluís Carulla Foundation and member of the Consell de la Cultura de Barcelona and Board member of the Coordinating Committee of Catalonian Foundations. He was General Secretary of the Presidency at Generalitat de Catalunya.

Gemma Sendra i Planas First Vice President
(Barcelona, 1960) Graduate in Philosophy and Arts. Manager at Gran Teatre del Liceu Foundation and Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA). Director of Historic Site of Sant Pau. She took on charge the Direction for contents of Universal Forum of Cultures in 2004. She has developed many cultural projects among which the most important are the proposal strategic plan for Museo de Arte Reina Sofia and creation of the Public Libraries Plan for Barcelona. Professor at master in Cultural Management at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and advisor to the AECID of Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y de Cooperación.

David Albet i sunyer Second Vice President
(Mérida, Veneçuela, 1955) Musician, founder and artistic director of contemporary music band Barcelona 216. He was director of the Festival de Músiques Contemporanies de Barcelona. Professor of Instrumental Ensemble and Head of Classical and Contemporary Music Department at ESMUC. Chief of chamber music program at Auditori of Barcelona since 2006. As a flute performer has played with the Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya i Simfònica de Barcelona and the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

Mercè Gisbert i Cervera Secretary
(Tortosa, 1964) PhD in Education and Professor in Pedagogy Department at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. She has been director of the Institut de Ciències de l’Educació and Vice Chancellor of Education and Policy Convergence Plan of the European Higher Education (EEES). Expert on traditional and popular culture on Terres de l’Ebre and vice president of the Agrupació Musical Senienca. Coordinator of the International Award for Music Bands "Vila de La Sénia" and the International Award for Young Composers "Vila de La Sénia". Academic Director of the summer courses on "Band Management". She was member of the Board of Institut Ramon Muntaner. Member of Consell Escolar of Catalunya.

Pilar Parcerisas i Colomer Vocal
(Manresa, 1957) Art critic and curator. PhD in Art History and Graduate in Media Studies. Founding member of Regió 7 newspaper. She has curated many exhibitions including: Ideas and attitudes. Environment of conceptual art in Catalonia, 1964-1980 ... (1992), Dalí. Elective Affinities (2004), Man Ray. Lights and dreams (2008) and Illuminations. Visionary Catalonia (2009). She has published The Art Machine (2003), Conceptualism (s). Poetic, political and peripherals. About conceptual art in Spain, 1964-1980 (2007) and Duchamp in Spain (2009). She has written screenplays among which the most relevant is L’última frontera (1992). She was president of the Catalan Association of Art Critics.

Isona Passola i Vidal Vocal
(Barcelona, 1953) Graduate in Contemporary History. Producer, scriptwriter and film director. Founder of Massa d'Or Productions which produces documentaries and tvmovies including El Mar (1999), Mirant al cel (2008) and Pa Negre (2010). She directed the documentary Catalunya-Espanya and is president of the International Association of Independent Producers of the Mediterranean (APIMED) with Barcelona base. Board Member of Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and Film Scriptwriting Professor at the Faculty of Communication Blanquerna at URL.

Valentí Puig Vocal
(Palma de Mallorca, 1949) Graduate in Philosophy and Arts and writer. He has published novels, essays and poems in catalan and spanish among the more relevant are: L'os de Cuvier, Una literatura particular or Diccionari Pla de literatura. He has received several awards for example Ramon Llull Award (1987) by Somni Delta, Josep Pla Award (1998) by L’home de l’abric, Sant Joan Award (2006) by La gran rutina. Columnist and political analyst in different media. He was Director of ABC Cataluña newspaper and correspondent in London. He was General Director of Education and Culture in the Consell General Interinsular of the Balearic Islands Government.
